How we assign awards →

The differences that matter

  • Capacity 120 Ah vs 200 Ah, both at 12 V → in theory about 1.4 kWh vs about 2.4 kWh (manufacturer-declared values): at the same load the second lasts almost twice as long.
  • Maximum charge current 100 A vs 200 A → in theory about 1,200 W vs about 2,400 W accepted: with a powerful charging source the first is the limit.
  • Maximum discharge current 250 A vs 200 A → in theory about 3,000 W vs about 2,400 W deliverable.
  • Thickness 12.6 cm vs 20.7 cm, IP55 vs IP65 → the first fits a thinner space, the second has the higher protection rating.

Which one to choose

Choose ECTIVE LC 120 Slim LT 12V if…

You have a 12 V system with a load that draws a high current on discharge (up to a declared 250 A, about 3,000 W in theory) and a narrow space where a battery 12.6 cm thick fits and one 20.7 cm thick does not. You give up energy (120 Ah against 200) and fast charging: its maximum charge current is 100 A, half the other's.

Choose LiTime 12V 200Ah Plus if…

You have a 12 V system and want more autonomy and quicker charging, for example from a powerful charging source: it accepts up to 200 A. The compromise is a lower maximum discharge current and a thicker body. It has the higher protection rating, IP65.
