EcoFlow STREAM 5000 vs EcoFlow STREAM Pro
Technical comparison · All-in-one
Two EcoFlow batteries of different size: the STREAM 5000 stores 5.024 kWh, the STREAM Pro 1.92 kWh. Both cap grid feed-in at 800 VA, so the choice is about how much energy you want to keep and how many panels to connect.

The differences that matter
- Solar input → 5000 W on 4 MPPT against 1500 W on 3: sets how many panels you can connect.
- Capacity → 5.024 kWh (expandable to 15 kWh) against 1.92 kWh: the energy left for the evening.
- Backup output → 2500 W against 1200 W: how many loads stay on during a power cut.
- Inverter → included in the 5000, not in the Pro: changes what has to be added to the system. Manufacturer-declared values.
Which one to choose
Choose EcoFlow STREAM 5000 if…
You have up to 5000 W of panels spread over four MPPT inputs and want 5 kWh of storage with a built-in inverter, expandable to 15 kWh. In a power cut it supplies up to 2500 W, with a short switchover pause (EPS). The cost is bulk: 45.4 kg to stand on the floor.
Choose EcoFlow STREAM Pro if…
You have few panels, 1500 W at most on three MPPT inputs, and 1.92 kWh is enough in a 22.8 kg unit. In backup it delivers up to 1200 W, also with a switchover pause. The trade-off is size: less stored energy, and the spec sheet does not list an inverter as included.
