EcoFlow STREAM 5000 vs Zendure SolarFlow 800 Pro 2
Technical comparison · All-in-one
Both are home storage units with an 800 VA feed-in limit, but at different scales: a 5 kWh floor-standing unit and a 1.9 kWh wall-mounted one. The question is how much solar and how much stored energy you want behind that limit.

The differences that matter
- 5,000 W against 2,640 W solar input (manufacturer-declared values) → how many panels you can connect; feed-in stays at 800 VA on both.
- 2,500 W against 1,000 W in backup mode → the ceiling on what you can run during an outage.
- 5.0 kWh and 45.4 kg against 1.9 kWh and 22.6 kg → one stands on the floor, the other goes on the wall.
- Declared standards: VDE-AR-N 4105, EN 50549, CEI 0-21 and G98/G99 against CE only → if your grid connection asks for a specific grid code, only the first lists it.
Which one to choose
Choose EcoFlow STREAM 5000 if…
you have a large PV array, up to 5,000 W across four MPPT trackers, and want to start at 5 kWh with room to grow to 15 kWh. In an outage it supplies up to 2,500 W, with a brief break while it switches over (EPS). The practical cost is 45.4 kg to stand on the floor.
Choose Zendure SolarFlow 800 Pro 2 if…
you have a smaller system, up to 2,640 W of panels, and want a 22.6 kg unit to hang on the wall, expandable to 11.52 kWh. It has cell heating and switches to backup in 20 ms, but only up to 1,000 W, and the app is needed for the first start-up.
