The differences that matter
- System voltage, 12 V → 24 V: the battery is chosen by the existing system, not by the Ah figure.
- Capacity, 100 Ah → 50 Ah: 12 V × 100 Ah and 24 V × 50 Ah both give about 1,200 Wh, calculated without losses, so energy is not what differs.
- Maximum current, 100 A → 50 A (charge and discharge): manufacturer-declared values; at 24 V the same power passes with half the current.
Which one to choose
Choose ECTIVE LC 100L BT 12V if…
your on-board system is already 12 V and you want 100 Ah in a single case of about 31 × 17 × 23 cm. The trade-off: for the same power the current is twice that of the other battery, up to 100 A on discharge against 50 A.
Choose ECTIVE LC 50L BT 24V if…
your system runs at 24 V, or you are building one at that voltage. The Ah figure is half, but at 24 V the nominal energy is the same; what you give up is the option of connecting it to a 12 V system.
