The differences that matter
- 24 V against 12 V, 100 Ah against 200 Ah → the installation sets the voltage; Ah at different voltages cannot be compared like for like, and 200 Ah is not «double» 100 Ah.
- Discharge current 100 A against 250 A → the current ceiling of the system is much higher on the second.
- Cold-charge protection: absent against present → the second protects the battery when it is charged in the cold, the first does not.
- IP65 against IP55 → the first copes better with an exposed mounting spot.
Which one to choose
Choose ECTIVE LC 100L BT 24V if…
the system runs at 24 V and the compartment is long and low: 48.3 × 17 × 24 cm. The trade-off: charging in the cold is not protected, so the compartment has to stay above freezing in winter.
Choose ECTIVE LC 200 Slim LT 12V if…
the system runs at 12 V and needs high discharge currents; the compartment is flat, 13.6 × 46.6 × 32 cm, and cold-charge protection is there. The trade-off: lower ingress protection, so it needs a more sheltered mounting spot.
