ECTIVE LC 120 Slim LT 12V vs LiTime 24V 100Ah Basic

Technical comparison · Lithium batteries for campers

In brief

Two LFP batteries for campers that do not fit the same electrical system: the ECTIVE is 12 V, the LiTime 24 V. Before any other figure, what counts is the voltage already on board, because the first one's 120 Ah and the second one's 100 Ah cannot be compared. Values as declared by the manufacturers.

The differences that matter

  • System voltage: 12 V versus 24 V → the two batteries are not interchangeable: the choice follows the voltage of the system already installed.
  • Energy: 120 Ah at 12 V, about 1.4 kWh at nameplate voltage, versus a declared 2.56 kWh for 100 Ah at 24 V → Ah at different voltages cannot be compared: the LiTime stores more.
  • Maximum discharge: 250 A versus 100 A → at nameplate voltage about 3 kW versus about 2.4 kW: the gap in power is much narrower than the one in amps.
  • Shape: 12.6 × 46.6 × 29 cm versus 53.2 × 20.7 × 21.5 cm → the ECTIVE is flat, the LiTime is a lower, deeper block: the available space decides.

Which one to choose

Choose ECTIVE LC 120 Slim LT 12V if…

the on-board system is 12 V, loads may ask for high currents and the space is flat, under a bench or a seat: the ECTIVE is 12.6 cm thick, handles up to 250 A on discharge and has cold-charge protection. The trade-off: less energy than the LiTime and IP55 instead of IP65.

Choose LiTime 24V 100Ah Basic if…

the system is 24 V and you want a block with a declared 2.56 kWh, 21.5 cm tall and rated IP65. The trade-off: it does not suit a 12 V system and maximum discharge stops at 100 A.
