ECTIVE LC 80L 12V vs LiTime 24V 100Ah Basic

Technical comparison · Lithium batteries for campers

In brief

Two lithium iron phosphate batteries for campers that do not fit the same electrical system: the ECTIVE is 12 V, the LiTime is 24 V. System voltage decides before any other figure; capacity and currents follow from it. Figures are manufacturer-declared.

The differences that matter

  • System voltage: 12 V → 24 V: the two are not interchangeable, the choice follows the vehicle's system.
  • Energy: about 0.96 kWh (80 Ah × 12 V, nominal) → 2.56 kWh: the LiTime stores more than twice as much.
  • Maximum current: 80 A at 12 V → 100 A at 24 V: nominal instantaneous power goes from about 0.96 kW to 2.4 kW.
  • Cold-charge protection: absent (ECTIVE): in harsh temperatures charging has to be managed separately.

Which one to choose

Choose ECTIVE LC 80L 12V if…

the vehicle runs a 12 V system and the compartment is small: the battery measures 30.7 × 16.8 × 22.1 cm and weighs 10.4 kg. It is 80 Ah, about 0.96 kWh nominal, with 80 A on discharge and charge. The trade-off: lower capacity and no cold-charge protection.

Choose LiTime 24V 100Ah Basic if…

the system is 24 V and you need more energy: 100 Ah at 24 V is a declared 2.56 kWh, with 100 A on discharge and charge. The trade-off: 20.68 kg and 53.2 cm in length, and it does not connect to a 12 V system.
