BYD Battery-Box Premium HVS 10.2 vs RCT Power Battery 7.6
Technical comparison · High voltage
Two high-voltage lithium iron phosphate batteries, one for a home and one for a flat. The inverter decides before the capacity does, because each is declared for a different group.

The differences that matter
Manufacturer-declared values.
- Inverter: sixteen brands on the official list vs RCT Power Storage DC only → the battery choice follows the inverter, not the other way round.
- 10.24 kWh vs 6.91 kWh usable, expandable up to 38.4 and 15.36 kWh → the first has more reserve now and more room to grow.
- −10 to 50 °C and IP55 vs 5 to 40 °C and IP42 → the first can go in an unheated or more exposed room; the second wants an indoor, temperate one.
- 60% vs 80% capacity guaranteed at the end of the 10-year warranty → after ten years the manufacturer assures 60% on the first and 80% on the second.
Which one to choose
Choose BYD Battery-Box Premium HVS 10.2 if…
you have an inverter from the sixteen brands on the official list and plan to add modules later. You accept 167 kg to set on the floor and a lower capacity guaranteed at the end of the warranty.
Choose RCT Power Battery 7.6 if…
you have an RCT Power Storage DC inverter and a flat-sized reserve is enough, with 102 kg and a little over a metre of height to find room for. You give up growing beyond a modest size and local-network control, which this one does not have.
