ECTIVE LC 100L BT 24V vs ECTIVE LC 120 Dual 12V

Technical comparison · Lithium batteries for campers

In brief

Two lithium camper batteries with similar capacity but built for different systems: one runs at 24 V, the other at 12 V. The voltage of the onboard system settles the choice before anything else.

The differences that matter

  • System voltage 24 V vs 12 V → each goes with an onboard system of its own voltage; they are not interchangeable.
  • Weight 24.8 kg vs 10.2 kg → the 12 V unit is much easier to carry and to fit into a tight compartment.
  • Capacity 100 Ah at 24 V vs 120 Ah at 12 V → in theory about 2.4 kWh vs about 1.4 kWh (voltage × Ah, manufacturer-declared values): Ah alone does not say which one stores more.
  • Cold-charge protection: absent on the 24 V, present on the 12 V → it matters if you charge with the vehicle in the cold.

Which one to choose

Choose ECTIVE LC 100L BT 24V if…

You have a 24 V onboard system and want to check the battery from your phone over Bluetooth; the case is rated IP65. The practical cost is size and weight: it needs a bigger compartment and a mounting suited to a battery far heavier than the other. It has no cold-charge protection, so if the vehicle sits in freezing weather over winter, charging is something to check.

Choose ECTIVE LC 120 Dual 12V if…

You have a 12 V system and a small compartment, or you have to lift and fit the battery on your own: it is the lighter, more compact of the two, and it has cold-charge protection. What you give up is 24 V: on a system at that voltage it is the wrong battery.
