EcoFlow STREAM 5000 vs Jackery SolarVault 3 Pro Max
Technical comparison · All-in-one
Both are floor-standing home storage units with an 800 VA feed-in limit and four MPPT trackers. What decides is how they behave in a grid outage: the EcoFlow has more energy and more power with a brief break (EPS), the Jackery has less of both but without a break (UPS).

The differences that matter
- Backup with a break (EPS) against continuous (UPS) → the difference is not power but whether there is an interruption, however brief, at the moment of changeover.
- 2,500 W against 1,600 W in backup (manufacturer-declared values) → the ceiling on the loads you can connect during an outage.
- 5.0 kWh and 45.4 kg against 2.52 kWh and 26.5 kg → twice the energy against a unit that is much lighter to move.
- 5,000 W against 4,000 W solar input → how many panels you can connect; feed-in is 800 VA on both.
Which one to choose
Choose EcoFlow STREAM 5000 if…
you have a PV array up to 5,000 W and want 5 kWh, expandable to 15 kWh, with 2,500 W in backup. You accept a brief break when it switches to backup power, and 45.4 kg to stand on the floor. It also declares a longer list of grid standards (VDE-AR-N 4105, EN 50549, CEI 0-21, G98/G99).
Choose Jackery SolarVault 3 Pro Max if…
you want connected devices not to see the EPS break: the Jackery is a UPS, with a declared 20 ms switchover and 1,600 W in backup. It offers 2.52 kWh, charges from the grid at up to 3.68 kW, heats its cells and keeps working, in reduced mode, without internet. The trade-off: solar input up to 4,000 W and 2.52 kWh against 5 kWh.
