What it really costs
- the manufacturer does not state the guaranteed total energy throughput, which for heavy users is often the limit that runs out first
How we worked it out
- stated cycles
- 6000
- warranty years
- 1825
These numbers are calculated, not stated: they have no source to cite, they have a formula you can redo. The price used is the manufacturer's list price, which is stable and the same in every country — not a shop's price on the day.
Pros and cons
In favour
- State of charge, voltage and current are read from the phone over Bluetooth, with the LiTime app.
- Below zero degrees a cold protection acts on the battery.
- IP65 protection rating: withstands dust and water jets.
- 6,000 cycles at full discharge.
Worth knowing
- The recommended charge current is a fifth of the maximum allowed: staying on the recommended value, a full recharge is slower.
- The warranty lasts five years: at one cycle a day it covers about 1,800 cycles, fewer than the 6,000 at full discharge.
- Its height rules out standard Group 31 battery boxes: the space on board has to be checked before buying. source
